REPORT: The Collin County Medical Examiner’s Office is receiving dozens of requests from Tiffney Billions and her group of activists in an effort to “bully” the office into releasing Austin Metcalf’s autopsy report and photos of his body after he was stbbed in the heart by Karmelo Anthony. These activists plan to send daily emails and requests as part of a new campaign to have the report released. Based on my sources and past statements from authorities, due to the sensitive and high-profile nature of this case, these reports will NOT be released. Activists will not be permitted to shape the narrative of this case. Tiffney Billions also bragged about running multiple campaigns for Karmelo Anthony, including a petition to “Have Hunter Metcalf Charged with Mrder” (Austin’s brother), a campaign to “Free the Footage,” and the “HeyKarmelo” campaign. The preliminary hearing in the case of the State v. Tyler Robinson will take place in Provo, UT next week, July 6-10. This is going to be an incredibly difficult but important week for all of us in the Turning Point family, but especially Erika and Charlie’s parents. We've been getting a lot of questions about what exactly this means and what to expect. This is NOT the trial. This is a pre-trial judicial proceeding. There will be no jury and the sole purpose of the hearing is to determine whether prosecutors have gathered enough evidence for the case to move forward to trial. The hearing is expected to last most of the week and will include witness testimony, evidence presented by prosecutors, and cross-examination by the defense. Charlie’s parents and Erika will be there together throughout the proceedings. They are not attending as public figures, but as grieving loved ones. I hope the media and social media gives them the space and respect they deserve during what will be a very challenging few days. The hearing was originally scheduled for May but was later rescheduled and now falls immediately between previously scheduled events and our Chapter Leadership Summit, which had all been on the calendar long before Charlie was murdered. We'll be following the hearing very closely and covering developments throughout the week, including special episodes of the show after court adjourns to cover the biggest developments each day.

Jake Lang is a January 6 rioter who was previously pardoned by Donald Trump. He came to North Texas during the Karmelo Anthony murder trial and positioned himself outside the courthouse in support of the prosecuting family. According to authorities, Lang is now in the Dallas County Jail on a terroristic threat charge, held on a $1 million bond tied to this case. He is accused of making violent threats during the trial and using racist language while targeting Karmelo Anthony and his supporters.
