This neighborhood of Bangkok, in the Sukhumvit Soi 39 area, is a little Japan. Looks like Japan too, the street look and feel and with electric wires overhead (standard in Japan due to earthquake risk).

And it's not just bangkok, I travelled in rural thailand and nowhere I noticed honking & littering. Basic civic sense exists nearly everywhere except India.

When u travel abroad, u understand how pathetic things are back home. Right from civic infra , civic sense etc.

GDP per capita is incomparable with India. Thais enjoy far higher standard of living as they are not dealing with medieval issues on day to day basis. This kind of progress is impossible in India tbh

Have been travelling across Thailand and am amazed at how clean it is .. even in high density areas !!!!
