Tesla says the Model Y L’s rear spoiler provides 100 kg of downforce. They integrated the rear brake light into it, which provided more rear headroom for occupants. The Model Y L’s aerodynamic efficiency is impressive. It’s 2% more efficient than a standard Y, and 15% more than a Model X. Tesla Drag Coefficients: • Model S: 0.208 • Model Y L: 0.216 • Model 3: 0.219 • Model Y: 0.22 • Model X: 0.25 • Cybertruck: 0.34

How to Open the Model Y Rear Doors in an Emergency This is a issue I hear a lot about so I thought I'd do a brief informational video about how to open rear doors in a Tesla Model Y in case of emergency and the electric door opening switches are not functional. I hear this enough that I think this is a subject you might want to let passengers or family members know about. It's pretty easy, but if you haven't seen this before, it might not be obvious in an emergency. I do know Tesla is looking into a design chance for this but I am not sure when this will be incorporated.

Interesting “test” car at Giga Texas today … looks like a Model Y under a car cover, but missing all body panels, the rear quarter panels, glass roof & with old Model Y wheels. I honestly do not know what this is or if it is significant. What are your thoughts?

Tesla really goes out of their way to prevent anyone from hearing this. I think it sounds pretty cool! What do you think? This isn’t even a fancy model. Mid tier model Y, with a 4sec 0-60. I was doing some work on the car. Didn’t finish putting everything back, but had to drive it. Was surprised by how much more I could hear the motor noise. The camera is pointed at the missing rear seats, and the rear wheel motor is right under it.

This is really awesome! Tesla wrapped a Cybercab Model 3 test mule in the same gold as the Cybercab. They even wrapped the back window since it’s not needed. Tesla uses this car to gather data on public roads.

This is probably the most unlucky Model Y owner in 🌎. Remember my post this morning regarding a Model Y withstanding clasped wall? Here comes the hilarious video documenting her 4-month ownership of MY & how it ends. This Chinese girl picked up her dream Tesla on 4/7 which got totaled on 9/7, during which she experienced all the nightmares possible: tire nailed, door dinged, front bumper & hood seriously chipped, side swiped twice, rear glass hit by fallen tile & here comes the grand finale: her MY crushed by perimeter wall & retaining wall due to heavy storm. Luckily when it happened, she was sleeping & it triggered several notifications: security alarm went off, doors unlocked, rear trunk opened, etc. Hope after this incident, all her bad luck is gone for good & gets another Tesla. How about Highland Model 3? Best wish for her. I would like to see sentry mode reveal the last moment of the incident.
