It’s very satisfying to watch, but it is a bunch of uncoupled, independent oscillators at slightly different frequencies. A wave would require that the oscillators are coupled.

Not really a wave. It's merly an illusion of a wave. The individual weights are moving up and down independently. They are moving in a wave-like sequence but the motion is not being propagated from one to the other.

Reminds me of a drop of water crashing into the surface of a glass still lake. Even vortices or Fibonacci appear from linear (straight lines) movement. Like a tide moving in and out.

I LOVE PHYSICS

cc @o_pous

*transversal. (invariant to the your "diagonal" frame of choice) 🤓

Can watch this all day long 🔥🔥🔥

what if there is more than one line

Love this

Why is it so?!...

👏👏👏

Have anyone ever thought of see the pattern and input as Data in a Computer to see what it will happen or what will it show, from what I see a pattern DNA and bar graph and so on.

Beautiful

This is so satisfying to watch.

@Zetaisrising Is it any ever out of tune movement Seems the pattern is just wider than what the eyes meet but it remains

I need this . NOW 🔥🔥

But why it trandforms to high frequency what is dispersion effect?

this is so flux yeah!! 🧲📡 @FluxtraMANTRA 🌐

cool

Very cool!

Horizontal waves are underrated.

Wave milking machine?

@grok what song is this

There's a lot of order in the chaos

Hypnotic

素晴らしい垂直波のデモンストレーション。興味深いですね。次は何が見られますか?
