A message from Howie Rose:

@HowieRose We have to win it for Howie this year

@HowieRose Gray Cohen and Howie Rose need to do a game together before you go. Just you two. I think that would be really cool to have the two best play by play announcers in the league together at the same time.

@HowieRose Congrats to the voice of my childhood and millions of others. Cheers to a wonderful retirement, make some birdies out there.

@HowieRose "For Howie"

@HowieRose

@HowieRose Thank you, @HowieRose!

@HowieRose

@JohnFromAlbany @HowieRose The best to ever do it. Thank you Howie 🙏

@HowieRose I guess it had to happen some time. But for years, there's been such comfort in having @HowieRose call @Mets games. The perfect blend of encyclopedic Mets historian, passionate baseball lover and funny storyteller that makes a car drive pass without noticing the time. Thank you!

@HowieRose We’re going to miss you, Howie

@HowieRose Howie, We have never met, however I think I speak for most Met and Ranger fans. You are simply family. We are sad (for us) and happy (for you). God Bless You and your beautiful family. Respectfully, Joey from Da Bronx.

@HowieRose Won't be the same without you Howie.

@HowieRose Best in the business!

@HowieRose please win this year guys...

@HowieRose Congratulations Howie. Well deserved retirement after a masterful career in the booth. You will be missed.

@HowieRose Bro I’ve been listening to Howie since I was a kid, all thanks to bigelow tea. Congrats!

@HowieRose

@HowieRose Howie, thank you for being such a part of bringing Mets games to us. We'll miss you but I remember no one thought Bob Murphy could ever be replaced. over 20 years later, here we are now thinking it will impossible to replace you. You are a Mets hall of famer IMO.

@RMorosca @HowieRose #Mets #LGM

@HowieRose ONE OF ONE, FEINERS LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK. GOD BLESS YOU FOREVER.

@HowieRose i’m heartbroken.

@HowieRose Thank you Howie

@HowieRose Thank You @HowieRose

@andrew_tred @HowieRose Win for Howie!!

@MetsBooth @HowieRose I nominate Howie to have a microphone and his name put up next to the retired numbers at Citi Field. He took over for Ralph, Lindsay, and Bob and carried that banner exceptionally.

@HowieRose Hopefully your final “Put it in the books” is a long fly out by A. judge, late November LGM.

@HowieRose WIN IT FOR HOWIE!!!! We love you, man! Our broadcasting GOAT!!

@HowieRose Dad, what was it like listening to Howie Rose on the radio as a kid? As a 47 year fan of the Mets, thank you, Howie. #LGM

@HowieRose Congrats Howie. Enjoy your retirement. You 100% earned it. LGM!

@HowieRose I grew up listening to the legendary Lindsey Nelson, Bob Murphy and Ralph Kiner. Howie was a more than worthy successor.

@NjTank99 @HowieRose I grew up with Bob Murphy, Ralph Kiner, Tim McCarver.. I you, @HowieRose.. for that, thank you for being apart of my life for nearly 40 years. All of those mentioned give me the gift of keeping my memory of my Dad alive.

@HowieRose 😢 thank you @HowieRose from the first time I heard you on WHN-1050 I always knew you were someone special. Been a great journey and the voice in my head of so many special memories. Let’s make a few more

@HowieRose 🐐 you deserve the time to enjoy your family. Thank you for your years bringing the absolute best in the booth into our homes, cars and lives. Cheers 🍻
