@GreenSentai1992 The early 2000's had a lot of episodes like this because of Columbine, like Spider-Man TNAS where they had an episode where Max Dillon gets bullied, becomes Electro, kills the guy who bullied him, starts seeing everyone as him, and dies after Spidey tried to get through to him.

That Virgil's mother was killed with a gun helps make this message more than just a public service announcement; it's something fully in-character for Static to say if he had the opportunity.

This episode was a little crazy but it has VERY POWERFUL MESSAGE

Can we get serious cartoons and PSAs again. I feel like kids in our generation could use this information like we used to

Call me old fashioned, but I’d like to think this episode might’ve even prevented a shooting by telling people to watch for the signs
