I don’t really know where I’m supposed to share this, but I live in California, and after the mysterious hurricanes that have hurt the southeast and are getting ready to hurt the southeast again I thought, what else would they be willing to do? I live in a no flood zone, but I called my insurance company today to see if I was covered for flood insurance. My agent told me that I am covered for fire and earthquake but not flood insurance. So I asked her what do I need to do to have flood insurance? She said I could get flood insurance but it’s only through FEMA!!! And not only is it only through FEMA but the max amount they will cover in a flood is $250,000. My home is almost $2 million, the most Coverage I can get is $250,000. Period that’s it so if a flood were to mysteriously emerge in my no flood zone my insurance would never even be able to replace my foundation. Don’t you find that odd?? I do.

Bless those helping the people of the devastated areas~ I'll throw in a "Bless You" to the Charles Butt family, the owners of HEB grocery for their donation of $500K in relief $ and items to the affected areas. I imagine HEB will as well help Florida when all is said and done.
