Minor Correction: Filastin wasn’t the first Arab paper in the land of Israel. In 1876, The Ottoman government issued an official gazette called Al-Quds Al-Sharif which was written in Arabic and Ottoman Turkish. However, even that gazette comes after the two first Hebrew papers in the land of Israel: HaHavatzelet and HaLevanon, both founded in 1863.

The OP was tagged quite a few times in my IG post. The common response I get are: blocking me, ignoring me, attempts to “debunk” my debunking, or full out meltdowns. To be honest, I’m pretty sure that individual knew pretty well that anything related to the British Mandate has Eretz Israel all over it. My suspicion is that at least some these “pro Palestine” creators bring up Jewish maps of Palestine or British passports deliberately to invoke engagement and traffic from people highlighting the obvious on their posts, while appealing to the uneducated masses. So it’s a kind of win-win for them. That’s one of the reasons I prefer not tag them directly. I can correct the misinformation without giving them the engagement and traffic they seek.
