why anyone buys cats is beyond me
The people who are saying it's abuse to cut this cats nails literally have no idea what they are talking about. Sometimes cats nails grow TOO long (especially when they get older and are less active) it might grow into the pad of the foot and it gets infected. WHY is this abuse?
Cat nails do not need cut at any time
It is highly traumatizing to cats to be done this way, please don't, you can hear the terrified screams of that cat. Place them in your lap and gently press down on the tops of the paw you are clipping, only the front claws really need to be done, and clip them gently. 😓
Good god people.. Get a damn scratching post and wrap sandpaper around it. You can get 20 yards of it for $20 and wrap around over and over so when they scratch it dulls their nails. Us a 400 grit or so.
Cruel. Just be a loving owner and your pet will trust you. I have an 18 lb cat who just sits perfectly still while I trim her nails.
