The 21st Brigade of Somalia's Turkish-trained Gorgor Commando Force on Friday completed its advanced military training in Türkiye and is expected to return to Mogadishu in the coming days, according to security sources. The brigade will be replaced by the 22nd Brigade, which recently finished its basic training in Mogadishu and is set to deploy to Türkiye for advanced instruction. The latest rotation marks a shift in the training program, with an entire brigade now being deployed at once instead of the previous practice of sending a single battalion. With the addition of the 21st and 22nd brigades, the Gorgor force has expanded to six brigades, numbered 17 through 22, making it one of Somalia's largest and most capable military formations. Türkiye provides training, equipment and armored vehicles for the force, while Qatar finances the program. Although the commandos have not yet received more advanced weapon systems, they have been equipped with day and night capable drones and armored vehicles, significantly enhancing their operational capabilities.

Today I had a long discussion with military officials – the Commander-in-Chief, the Chief of the General Staff, and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine. Many changes are underway in our air defense operations: in some regions, the way teams work is being almost completely reorganized – interceptors, mobile fire groups, and the entire short-range air defense component. But this is only one of the elements of defense that need changes, and the changes are coming. This also concerns oversight of the frontline supplies with drones, weapons, and, most importantly, personnel. People are indeed the key issue: their training and the actual replenishment of brigades. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, together with the military command, is preparing the necessary decisions – measures that will strengthen Ukraine and solve existing problems. It’s too early to share the details publicly. Once the decisions are fully developed, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and our army will present them to the public.

Ukraine’s pilot program integrating the private sector into national air defense has recorded its first successful interceptions — including Shahed and Zala drones in the Kharkiv region. A new model is taking shape: government, military, and business operating as one system. 13 more companies are forming air defense units — some already on combat duty, others in training, with more joining soon.

Our advanced air defense systems are being deployed one after another in active combat zones. Friday marked a significant setback for American and Zionist forces, with multiple aircraft reportedly brought down. We will demonstrate to the world the weakness and failure of those who rely on aggression.

For those who are asking why Iran is not currently attacking Israel: it is important to remember that it is the U.S. air defense systems throughout the region, in the seas and straits, as well as the air defense systems of all Arab countries that intercept the majority of missiles heading in that direction. 🔻 The weaker the U.S. and Arab air defense systems become in the region, the higher the probability that Iranian missiles will reach Tel Aviv

❗️❗️🇺🇦🇸🇪 Ukraine is preparing to begin training on the Swedish JAS 39 Gripen fighter jet. According to Denys Shmyhal, Ukrainian pilots and ground personnel are set to start Gripen training, signaling concrete steps toward operational integration. Kyiv appears to be moving closer to fielding the Gripen, with plans that could eventually involve the acquisition of up to 150 aircraft—an expansion that would markedly enhance Ukraine’s air combat effectiveness and air defense posture. This would represent a significant potential shift in the balance of Ukraine’s airpower. See the latest updates with us: NSTRIKE
