Canadians didn’t vote for a Liberal majority! They voted for a minority! Liberals came up 3 seats short. So they went shopping. (With OUR MONEY 💵!!) Four Conservative MPs. One NDP. Crossed the floor. Switched teams. Gave Carney the majority he couldn’t win at the ballot box. Legal? Yes. A betrayal of the people who voted for them? Also yes. You don’t vote for a guy. You vote for a party. Then that MP disappears behind closed doors and comes out Liberal. No byelection. No permission. No second vote. Just a majority they didn’t earn. That’s not democracy working.
