@gunsnrosesgirl3 A visual guide to memorize the Morse code

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Why do people keep reposting this? It's so beyond useless as a memorization technique. You can fit pretty much any sequence of dots and dashes into any letter....

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Does it not make more sense to match the order in which the strokes are written for each letter, to the order in which the dots/strokes appear? This video felt more artistic than practical.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Literally makes no sense. Waste of time watching this and now I'm angry

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Bookmarking this so that I can never look at it again 😅

@gunsnrosesgirl3 He got J wrong 😆

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Fred Keller developed the Code-Voice method of teaching Morse code back in World War II. The method, ignored by ham radio folks who prefer starting slow and struggling to increase speed, is empirically verified to achieve full speed in a fraction of time of standard methods.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 I am depressed that I couldn’t learn morse Z

@gunsnrosesgirl3 this doesnt help AT ALL.

It's better to learn the code with the sound only. Learn e i, s, h, (dits only) then t, m, o (dahs only) then mirror images, a, n, k, r, u. g. w, d. then v, b, j, c, q, f, then p, x, l, y. z. In the meantime, spell words with the letters that you know. Always call them dits and dahs, not dots and dashes. never write down (- or .) Practice with street signs you see, billboards, etc. There is morse code practice on the internet. Good luck!

@gunsnrosesgirl3 ok so this genuinely means nothing

@gunsnrosesgirl3 I had a few tricks like that to learn. I don’t think there is a useful pattern to cover all.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 NO NO NO! DO NOT LEARN THIS VISUALLY. You will plateau in a nasty way.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 I will just text them .... seems easier

@gunsnrosesgirl3 As a radio amateur with over 30 years of experience, I can categorically say that melodies are easier to remember.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 There is nothing mnemonic about this

@gunsnrosesgirl3 so instead of seemingly random dots and dashes, you now need to remember seemingly random dots and dashes in random shapes that may or may not be placed on either random or coherent points on the letters...

@gunsnrosesgirl3 He did J wrong

@gunsnrosesgirl3 I could memorize pi to a thousand digits before I could memorize that mnemonic.

@gunsnrosesgirl3

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Interesting

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Advanced teaching

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Words cannot describe how annoyed I am about this video

@gunsnrosesgirl3 But....... the sound? lights blinks? (military)

@gunsnrosesgirl3 the English alphabet

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Literally doesn’t make any sense

@gunsnrosesgirl3 I made my own little sayings for each letter: for the letter Z I remembered ZIP IT or else __ __ . .

@gunsnrosesgirl3 J is backwards. Ruined.

@gunsnrosesgirl3

@gunsnrosesgirl3 That would not help me at all. There were only a couple of letters for which it made sense. The rest were like a bum steer. Also doesn't help to have music over it. I had to mute the clip to mentally hear dots and dashes in an effort to make sense of the visual.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Once you know....

@gunsnrosesgirl3 .-..-. - .-. .- -. ... .-.. .- - . / - .... .. ... / .-- .. - .... / .--. ..- .-. . / ... -.- .. .-.. .-.. / .- -. -.. / .. / .-- .. .-.. .-.. / -- .- -.- . / -.-- --- ..- / .- / ..-. .-. . . / ... --- -. --. -.-.-- .-..-.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 @YRULwqdeaa9632 次にモールス信号を使うときに助かるわ

@gunsnrosesgirl3 We used a similiar method in the military to learn morse code and its very effective.
