By the way - I just want to highlight how the streets in formerly-Syrian Regime-Deirezzor look like - so much destruction. Every street looks like a battlefield - partly from Airstrikes that targeted IRGC and IRGC led militias - but mostly remnants from the war against ISIS when the Syrian regime took these areas in 2019. The Syrian regime administration is a failed administration. 5 years and in these 5 years the Syrian regime did nothing.

Several members of the Syrian delegation were also injured. A Syrian Interior Ministry spokesperson said the attacker was a member of the Syrian security forces who was suspected of extremist views [ISIS] and was due to be held accountable, but carried out the attack before action was taken.
