ALERT: Semi-truck smashes into an overpass, causing it to explode with debris and slide into a car parked along the side of the highway. The footage was recorded by a AAA Carting truck, and the truck can be seen flipping on its side after being too tall for the clearance. Pernell Harris, the truck driver from South Carolina, has been ticketed for having a vehicle that exceeded the maximum height of 13 feet 6 inches. Harris and the driver of the Toyota it slid into on the side of the highway both reported having no injuries.

A driver in Kentucky had a close call when an oil tanker exploded in front of his car as he was driving down a highway on Friday. The blast was caused by a crash between the oil tanker and a car. Two children and a woman that were in the car were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The tanker driver was treated at the scene.

Driving on the wrong side of the road is dangerous, illegal, and something every citizen is fined for. So why is it acceptable when a VIP convoy does it? Today in Delhi, a VIP convoy most likely a Chief Minister’s convoy with an MG Gloster bearing DL 0001 was driving in the wrong lane, forcing traffic to stop just so the convoy could pass. If ordinary people drove like this, they’d be slapped with hefty challans. Why should those in power be exempt? Traffic rules exist for everyone’s safety, not just for the public. If this was indeed a Chief Minister’s convoy, it’s a shameful example to set! 😌

This truck was driving on the highway behind another truck and suddenly something kicked up from the road which smashed his windshield. What kind of tool is that ? Maybe a concrete rake? Impressive how he doesn’t swerve. This driver is trying to ma a left turn and the car on the opposite side stops and makes a path for them to turn. As the car starts to turn, an electric bike in the bike lane comes speeding down and well, as you can see, smashes into the car and flips over the front. Luckily he gets up and is walking. He could have been seriously injured. To me, this is quite literally why they say you’re not supposed to just stop in the middle of a street to let someone turn. Some are saying it’s the red car’s fault for stopping and letting the driver turn. Others are saying in their state, an electric bike is like a motorcycle and has to obey the traffic laws. Who is at fault? Do you think the electric bike should have been in the bike lane traveling that fast? The red car for letting the car turn left when it can’t see, or is it the drivers responsibility to make sure all is clear before proceeding?

In the Horrific Road Accident, 2 people lost their lives, while 3 others were seriously injured, said Inspector, Ameenpur ps. The injured were shifted to hospital in ambulances. The Ameenpur police reached the scene, registered a case and are investigating.

This is not a Chinese family going on vacation with their dog. This is a dog likely bought from a wet market for meat. They have tied the poor animal to the back of their car and are driving on the highway as if he is just luggage. He has no idea what is waiting for him. That is what makes this so heartbreaking. This dog is still alive, still trusting, still innocent — and yet he is being treated with no care, no mercy, and no dignity. Dog meat eating is still a cruel reality in parts of China. Many of these dogs are stolen pets or helpless strays. No dog deserves this fate. Dogs are companions. They are not food.

Earlier this week I was in J&K, every time a security convoy passes on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway (which is throughout the day), vehicles on either side are stopped. Our car was stopped multiple times, abruptly. Clearly Kashmir is more normal than the others! Am sure there are better ways to ensure security for the security personnel than causing inconvenience to locals and tourists.
