Been using these for both PvE and PvP, though I had to go to NG+ to get a second "Milady" before the tarnished pack. Give one "Winged Stance" to throw people off, you won't regret it!

Oh, if you don't have the DLC (I think) someone could still put the ashes on a weapon, then drop it to you I've seen people running around Limgrave with DLC armor without the DLC, the ashes should also be fine ... Right?

Yeah I’ve read this is possible but haven’t tried. Maybe I’ll ask here later if somebody can drop it for me

I personally like the one-handed moveset best. I’m glad to see there’s fellow light greatsword enjoyers! It could just be me, but I don’t feel like enough people talked about this weapon class when Shadow of the Erdtree dropped.

its such a shame that pre-tarnished edition the only way to do this wouldve been to either cheat, go to NG+, or use the dogass scaling on the leda/rellana swords

It’s literally Renalla’s moveset, honestly wouldn’t be suprised if the entire weapon type was made specifically because of Renalla Either way it’s a gorgeous weapon type with every moveset and I’m glad we got it, hope they keep it around in any future souls-adjacent games

I hate that they nerfed Radahn and buffed this weapon and its talisman literally two days after I beat him and uninstalled the game.

The Idus sword is such a great weapon, yeah it's basically early game Milady with less stats, but man it chunks bosses with the thrust it comes with and the move set in general is incredible.
