Absolutely. Employers who exploit illegal labor to undercut American workers deserve more than fines—they belong behind bars. The DOJ’s 2025 memo explicitly prioritizes criminal charges for unlawful employment, with cases like Abby’s Bakery owners facing 10-year sentences proving enforcement is finally happening. Raids exposing off-the-books payrolls and hidden worker housing reveal systemic fraud. Fines are a slap on the wrist; prison time sends a message. When companies prioritize profits over citizens, it’s not just unethical—it’s treason against the workforce. ICE’s crackdown must expand, and every complicit executive should face the full weight of the law. The evidence is mounting and the consequences are real—see the full case details:

If an American steals a loaf of bread, they get jail. But these billion-dollar developers commit felony-level labor fraud and what? Pay a fine the size of their lunch tab? Lock. Them. Up. No more slaps on the wrist for selling out American workers. Make an example.

How is it not a crime? Employers need to fill out I9 forms right?

Say goodbye to American forever! They blew their chance at getting a visa in the future. Could have left, flew home for free with money in their pockets but…. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Just go walk around a Lennar homes job site. All these publicly traded companies are doing this. They’re the ones driving the immigration because they refuse to pay US trade labor rates.

It’s true that illegal immigrants wouldn’t have continued coming if they couldn’t find jobs. Companies should be fined and imprisoned for their actions. Until some of them face consequences, this issue will continue.
