He didn’t just develop footballers, he built a culture. A pathway where kids from every background across London genuinely felt seen, valued and believed in. Saka, ESR, Nwaneri, Dowman, MLS… all came through in an environment built on humility, character, education and togetherness, not just talent alone. Hale End started feeling connected to the community again. Per changed the academy from just producing players to producing Arsenal people. He’ll be greatly missed ❤️ Enfield Borough Football Club

I don’t know about you but for me if a manager can’t fit and utilise such a talent who’s come through the academy into his team, he’s clearly not fit enough to take this club back to the top.
