Breakbone fever is a term commonly used to refer to dengue fever, a viral infection transmitted primarily by Aedes mosquitoes. The term “breakbone” refers to the severe muscle and joint pain that often accompanies the illness, making it feel as though the bones are breaking. Dengue fever typically presents with symptoms such as: •High fever •Severe headache •Pain behind the eyes •Severe joint and muscle pain (hence “breakbone” fever) •Nausea and vomiting •Rash •Mild bleeding (such as nosebleeds or easy bruising) In severe cases, dengue can progress to dengue hemorrhagic fever or dengue shock syndrome, which are life-threatening conditions. There is no specific antiviral treatment for dengue, and management is primarily supportive, focusing on hydration and pain relief. The best preventive measure is to control mosquito populations and avoid bites through the use of insect repellents, nets, and wearing protective clothing.

I won’t say anything for now. But I am not laughing. Hmmmm

Since we’re discussing ’Dinga Dinga’ let me leave this here.

Masa, slap them they'll stop

Dinga Dinga {breakbone fever} is a mosquito-borne viral disease occurring in tropical and subtropical areas. Those who become infected with the virus a second time are at a significantly greater risk of developing severe disease. Symptoms are high fever, rash and muscle and joint pain. In severe cases there is serious bleeding and shock, which can be life threatening. Y’all should be careful out there
