A group of migrant workers went viral over the weekend after a video showed them joyfully dancing at a barbeque gathering at Pasir Ris Park, drawing smiles – and some criticism – online. The 64-second clip, posted on Facebook page Singapore Incidents yesterday that has been viewed over 76,000 times, shows five men taking turns to dance as people nearby clapped and cheered. While most viewers praised the carefree moment, some complained about the act in a public park, accusing the group of being disruptive. “Like it or not, it can be seen as a public nuisance,” one Facebooker who went by the name Hasni Soeb said. Others countered, saying the group were simply unwinding on their day off, with several noting the gathering appeared to be a company barbeque supported by those present.

The deity is a Shiva statue that India donated to CERN in the 1960s. Shiva is known in the Hindu religion as “The Destroyer” The mainstream media quickly went on record stating that the shocking footage appeared to have been recorded as part of a supposed prank made by scientists. The identity and motives of those behind the video were never revealed.

When a Deer asked Imam al-Reza (as) for Help… Once Imam (AS) was passing by through wilderness when a deer, which was being followed by a hunter came running to Imam (AS) and said something to him. Indeed a divine Imam (AS) understands and speaks all the languages including that of the birds and animals. Imam Baqir (AS) has said, “We have been taught the language of the birds and we have been given of everything”. As soon as the deer spoke to Imam (AS), Imam (AS) interrupted the hunter and said, “The deer has requested that it be spared for the time being as it had to go and feed her two kids. She has promised to return to the same spot and then you can kill her and sell her flesh”. The hunter was puzzled and asked, “How can you understand its language and what’s the guarantee that the deer will return?” Imam (AS) said, “I will give the guarantee and I will stand at the spot until it returns”. The hunter let the deer go and meanwhile, many people gathered around to see the spectacle. After feeding its two kids, the deer returned and stood at the same spot. It also asked the Imam (AS) to take care of her two kids and that she was ready to be killed. People were amazed by this miracle. Even the hunter gave up the idea of killing that deer and this started off the tradition of Imam-e-Zamin, which means ‘the Imam who guards’.
