A new fire suppression system installed on the Pad A Launch Tower. This will either be for spraying down the tower before the booster returns for landing, or extinguishing fires on the vehicle after touchdown. 🎥:LabPadre Space 🕵️♀️: VixXi

@LabPadre @VickiCocks15 Any chance the do this pre launch?

@LabPadre @VickiCocks15 this must feel so good if ur tower A

@LabPadre @VickiCocks15 Oh so that pipe that we saw in the earlier weeks running up the tower was for that ? The one that some thought was for Ship FSS with CO2

@LabPadre @VickiCocks15

@LabPadre @VickiCocks15 wen deepdive?

@LabPadre @VickiCocks15 Cool! Is this confirmed or could they be flushing out something? Is there a close up shot of the “nozzle” ?

@LabPadre @VickiCocks15 You think we will see a launch from tower B before the end of 2025 Zack?

@LabPadre @VickiCocks15 This can’t be water, are they using some nitrogen or CO2 gas or something? Cooling down metal too quickly will alter their characteristics, potentially ruining them structurally.

@LabPadre @VickiCocks15 I always wanted them to do this. Finally.

@LabPadre @VickiCocks15 Poor Pad A has been through so much lol

@LabPadre @VickiCocks15 Do you think they'll ever clad those towers?

@LabPadre @VickiCocks15 Hmmm, maybe just testing the line for pressure and delivery; next would be directly to the ship?? For a tower saving system, there would be numerous sprayers up and down the catch side. I don't see that here.
