A new Florida law restricting drag shows is affecting how Pride Month is celebrated in the state, causing the cancellation of some events

Excellent work done by @GovRonDeSantis to protect children from highly sexualised performances. I’m sure we’ve all seen the videos doing the rounds online of these shows. Children do not belong anywhere near them. Well done Governor.

So basically, they were in fact targeting children.

Please @cnn make the case that MINORS should attend “sexually explicit adult performances” (which is what the law actually prohibits). Sexually explicit adult performances. Kids. We’re waiting.
