This is Dhira Chaliha Hazarika, the first female pilot from the state of Assam, India. In 1961, at the age of 21, she earned her Pilot’s A Licence. And in September 2025, at the age of 85, she returned to the skies, taking the controls of a historic Tiger Moth biplane over the English countryside. I confess, I wasn’t aware of her pioneering story… and I suspect many others weren’t either. She deserves a place in India’s Aviation Hall of Fame simply for being a trailblazer. But for flying again at 85, she belongs in a global Hall of Fame for her courage, her resilience, and her life-affirming spirit. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 She’s my #MondayMotivation
