Yesterday the People of Israel celebrated the end of the British Mandate over our land and the end of thousands of years of exile and injustice. We celebrated our historic return back to having sovereignty over our land - Yom Haatzmaout 🇮🇱 In Montreal, I went out to have some powerful conversations and this man came up to me. He is the perfect example of a Jew hater who uses the Palestinian cause to channel his antisemitism instead of fight for justice. One thing is certain the people of Israel are forever tied to our land and the more we are shamed for it or the more that it is rejected - the more we prove we aren’t going anywhere. An important statement, we would appreciate it if you could read it and share it for the sake of others. There are hundreds of thousands of anti-Zionist and anti-Israeli Jews in America and Europe. Some Jewish communities in America and Europe have been fighting against Zionism since its emergence until today. Unfortunately, people think that all Jews are Zionists, but this is wrong. Not all Jews are Zionists and do not support Israel. Do not assume that every Jew you see is a Zionist; there are Jewish communities that fight against Israel. Especially Mea Shearim, an old Jewish neighborhood in Jerusalem before the establishment of Israel, is home to the largest anti-Zionist and anti-Israeli Jewish community in the Holy Land, and these Jews call themselves Palestinians. Israel is a false state fueled by anti-Semitism. Anti-Semitism is a useful weapon for Zionism. If you attack every Jew you see by calling them a Zionist, this means supporting Israel and Zionist gangs. You are unknowingly serving Israel with this behavior. Israel is trying to exploit such incidents to bring all Jews to Israel. That's why when you attack every Jew you see on the street, you actually support Israel because Israel uses this to shape public opinion. I had a great meeting with House Speaker Speaker Mike Johnson. I am grateful to the U.S. Congress for the strong bipartisan and bicameral support that has been provided to Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale aggression began. I briefed Speaker Johnson about Ukraine’s achievements, including liberating half of the land occupied by Russia since 2022, winning the battle for the Black Sea, and reforming the country to make it self-sufficient in the future. I thank speaker Johnson for supporting Ukraine’s fight for freedom and we count on continued assistance from our strategic partner, the US, in 2024.

He was also the first to visit Israeli PM a few days after the terror!st attack of October 7. The Republic of Cyprus will help normalize Israel-Lebanon relations. We are part of the solution, not the problem and will play a significant role in regional stability and development.
