Because it was Kewl Tune mirror matches for 2 months, the game went from Maliss into Kewl tune and wonder why the player base dipped

My biggest problem is the UR reqs for almost every deck. Building Azamina was stupidly expensive and I berate myself for doing it. I can go on Omega, compete,and build any deck I want.

Maxx C still being a thing is just so wild to me, it is so toxic next to droll.

Not even anti meta works this game is just bad 30 negates, they discaard my whole hand and banish my main card from my main and extra

Maxx C needs to go! I also feel Konami needs to speed up the content releases. It takes ages to get the new archetypes in Master Duel.

Its a big combo. The meta hasn't been shaken up its branded and kt hell forever, its behind in releases so the cool new cards take months being added, and decks are very very expensive to play plus the tutorial is lacking heavily. Best move was the new starter but its complex.

I am already leaving MD no way i can keep up with it, legit my mental health cannot afford it, last month was hell personified with that game. it is ruining the game MD. and Konami is sitting their asses on the deck not giving a crap about it, so why would I ruin myself for it ?

I do not understand why they wouldnt just make an official db clone. Have people pay for the game and make even more money via cosmetic stuff and ingame events like tournaments. I would instantly buy that game. MD was destined to fail

I legit have not played master duel in over a month now because it’s too expensive to play what you & also be competitive at the same time

They keep making these cheap ass decks in the game.... that do like 20 dif things off of one card...in a best of 1 format meaning if you don't draw the out, the game is over. By turn 1

My only issue is that they take way too long long to add new cards in the game and wasting a banlist update on filler cards no one uses

I know its supposed to be about competitiv mostly,but why does i always need to enter a lobby with a high tier deck oponent.I love yugioh so much,but always seing the lame deck just show me the comunity is just too toxic.Dont blame the game,blame the playerbase.

We need a new Legacy of the duelist / Link Evolution game, Master Fool is too greedy and enables the same meta spam shit just like the tcg

Imo they should hit every meta deck & buff up old decks that needs support. Harpie should have gotten support a long time ago but they didn't same with Amazoness

Yeah MD needs more of everything right now if it wants survive the next year.

When I saw ratpier go to 3 I knew MD was going downhill. They need a massive banlist or 2 to make it worthwhile to play. Sadly I think KT might need to be killed completely and Branded needs some meaningful main deck hits.

Why is the valiant different from the ocg or TCG? Why do they keep adding tier 0 cards while popular legacy archetypes wallow. Why is every generic staple UR? Why does every archetype have 3-4 URs when 80% of them are unplayable?

Why is no one mentioning the most insane fact and that is you get punished the more you play your pack odds become worse and worse why would anyone keep playing it ?

konami wants ppl who hate combo decks, maxx c droll and all the lingering effects, stun and ftk to quit this game.

Personally, I just don't like the current meta. I was having fun the trio of Yummy, Dracotail, and K9 (maybe not so much this one). Even then, there were some other viable deck options that could compete with them. Right now it feels like I can either play Kewl Tune or Branded.

Is this steam charts? I’m pretty sure most people play primarily on their phone unless they are a streamer.

I would never want it to be a bo3 because that would tske waaay too long and it doesn’t make sense for the live service. But if you gave each player at least the opportunity to side in cards after the dice roll it would solve most iissues. You can ban whatever after

I think the issue is not because of certain formats and metas, that's it's own thing. I think the real issue is that casual players first thought that MD is finally a place to play their pet decks and low tier decks, but they realized it's not. Casual Match didn't fix it-
