A nice trick you can do with tool calling and coding agents is adding a "displayText" parameter where the model needs to explain in a short phrase what he is trying to achieve with a tool call Otherwise you just show the user boring and illegible stuff like `Ran...

OpenAI shipped a new speech-to-speech model today: gpt-realtime-2 This is the first speech-to-speech model good enough to use in my voice agents that do "real work." Or real play, for that matter. Here's gpt-realtime-2 as the brain of the ship AI in Gradient Bang. The voice-to-voice response and tool calling times here are unedited, so you can see exactly what the interaction with the model is like in an agent with a very complex system instruction and frequent tool calls. (I did clip out the subagent task execution segments, after gpt-realtime-2 starts a subagent via a tool call. Subagents in this config used gpt-5.2 "medium" effort.)

Transformer Explainer Really cool interactive tool to learn about the inner workings of a Transformer model. Apparently, it runs a GPT-2 instance locally in the user's browser and allows you to experiment with your own inputs. This is a nice tool to learn more about the different components inside the Transformer and the transformations that occur. Tool:

i built a tool that lets you clone ANY video with AI saw a movie scene you want to recreate? a commercial? a music video? just upload it to this tool and get the exact structured prompt to generate it in sora 2 you no longer need to guess how to describe what you want to generate. show the tool the reference and it engineers the prompt for you. the tool analyzes: - camera movements and angles - lighting and color grading - scene composition and timing then converts everything into sora-optimized prompt structure this is how you recreate any visual style without prompt engineering experience RT + reply 'TOOL' and i'll send you access (must follow so i can dm)

AI power users are here and the case for agent-friendly software is materializing. Aaron Levie on agents outnumbering people 1000x: "If you start to imagine that we all have to build software for agents… we spend as much time now thinking about the agent interface to our tool as we do the human interface." "If you have a hundred or a thousand times more agents than people, then your software has to be built for agents… it's going to be through an API or a CLI or MCP." "What if you give a coding agent access to your SaaS tools and a coding agent access to your knowledge work, workflows and context?" "It can actually code its way or use APIs through whatever task it's trying to achieve." "That appears to be like a paradigm that is starting to compound… and I actually think it kind of makes sense as the ultimate manifestation of this stuff." Aaron Levie

What if working with AI felt less like operating a tool and more like talking to a creative collaborator? 🤝 With GPT-Live-1 now in Picsart Agents, you can simply talk through what you want to create and let the Agents handle the workflow! 🤩 In this video we show how to create content with Aura, localize it with Nora, and create a reel with Reeva! Less time operating AI, more time creating. Hire an agent here 👉

.OpenRouter co-founder Alex Atallah thinks decision models like Jev could be the alignment layer for agents: "One of the cool potential applications of Jev and other decision models like it is going to be alignment: checking to see if a tool call or an agent-to-agent communication is aligned." "There's just so many tool calls. You really need a cheap, fast model if you're going to block something like that... We have a little prototype running internally at OpenRouter." "Imagine looking at the system prompt and the current tool call, and asking: is this aligned with the original agent's system prompt, and with extra guidelines we didn't tell the agent about?" "Say you have agents instructed to red team a new product. They should not access the internet, and if they ever do, they should stop right away. But you might not want to explain that to them. You want them to act like bad actors." "So having another model check every single tool call, to see if it's aligned with something that wasn't in the system prompt, makes sense. And then structural safeguards too... I think companies are probably going to explore a combination of those." Alex Atallah Amjad Masad

Why do a nice, simple and quick spinning turntable to show off a model when, instead, you can struggle trying to make something more convoluted than its makeshift rigging supports?

NEW TOOL: It's a fully in-browser binary/file analysis tool with a hex editor. Features: - Hex editor and you can save the edited file - Mach-O symbols - ELF and PE basic metadata - Zip file contents - Fully client-side in-browser, so it is private and the files are never sent anywhere This is meant as a basic and quick tool to check simple metadata and do hex edits. If you need something more robust for malware analysis consider other tools like Malcore™ aka Malcore.io™ or just use a cli/native tool. Shoutout to Battle Programmer Yuu for inspiring me to use Unifont that I stole from tmp.0ut (it looks so good!) The code is all generated by Claude in Cursor and hosted on Github Pages. I don't really do any binary analysis, so if you have suggestions for improvements, let me know. (this is technically 'early access' and i haven't tested it too much)

HERMES AGENT IS STARTING TO FEEL LIKE A DIFFERENT CATEGORY OF AI TOOL. Not just a chatbot or a coding assistant, but a server side agent that remembers workflows, builds skills, and gets better the more you use it.

Most teams governing AI agents focus on what they can access. The harder problem is what they can do with it. Box MCP Server admin controls let admins govern tool access enterprise-wide or per AI integration, set read-only or read-and-write permissions, and configure down to the individual tool level. When a tool is disabled, agents can no longer discover or invoke it. Enforced at runtime, not just at setup.

This is pure comedy gold for the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury to call someone a brontosaurus with a walnut sized brain and imply he needs kneepads to do Soros bidding. Whether right or wrong, you be the judge, but this is better than any late-night comedy show...

video trying to demonstrate a workflow™ system of layers being bound to tools. The idea is that during drawing you only need to pick the tool you want without having to interact with layers or other panels. If i remembered where each tool is you'd see how seamless and fast it is

Tom Brady says his career turned around when a sports psychologist told him to stop complaining about what he wasn’t getting and start stewarding what he had the right way “Greg said to me, ‘Why don’t you quit bitching about all the things you’re not getting, and how about you do the best with whatever opportunities you get?’, ‘Stop worrying about what the other quarterback’s getting. Stop worrying about what the coach is saying to you.’” “‘Every time you get in there, you bring the juice. You bring the energy. You bring the enthusiasm. You treat practice like a game.’ Because if you just decide to go out there and you’re blaming everybody else, where does that get you? So I started to change my attitude.” “I didn’t have a lot of confidence in myself. And when you don’t have a lot of confidence in yourself, you blame other people. When you gain confidence in yourself, you start pointing the finger at yourself.” “I would encourage every athlete to look in the mirror after every day of practice or a game and say, ‘What can I do better to help the team? What can I do better?’” “Not, ‘What does the coach need to do better?’ Not, ‘What do my teammates need to do better?’, ‘What do I need to do better?’ If every player does that, you’re going to have an incredible team.” “You can’t have a false confidence. You don’t only gain your confidence because of your physical ability. You gain your confidence because you’re prepared, because you’re competitive. I couldn’t just show up and be better than everybody.” “I had to show up prepared. I had to show up with energy. I had to show up with my body feeling right. I had to show up like I was on a mission.”

SENTRY is Marvel's answer to DC's Superman and much more. I love how he is finding out what he can do mid-fight. Dude wasn't even trying I just hope Marvel doesn't fumble the bag with this character. Would love to see a movie or show about just the Sentry and his demons

You get what you tolerate. You achieve what you can first picture in your mind. Being a winner, and looking like a winner, is a choice. It has nothing to do with luck.
