Most kiosks survive on location strategy, not randomness. Setting up near a gym makes little business sense. Even a quick look at their waste output gives a fair indication of daily sales. Typical model is built around fast moving core products, supported by high margin packaged accompaniments.

Most such businesses work only when the cost structure is very different. You’re not just competing on juice or eggs, you’re competing with someone who has road visibility, low or informal rent, family labour, lower overheads, and a very different opportunity cost. The ₹5 margin math looks simple until rent, wastage, manpower, footfall, and time enter the picture.

Influencers for views make such videos and brainwash working class people. The only easy business is importing. Buy cheap from China and sell.

It’s a colonised brain that why he is talking like this about his business. Before starting business there is a probation period. Ask any Marwadi/Gujarathi businessmen how he inherited his ancestors business.

There are no shortcuts to getting rich in India unless you count being born a Babu, bribing your way as a Neta, or having a crony capitalist for a dad. The rest of us are stuck with hard work, taxes, EMis and UPI receipts.

Location is the key for such businesses; high quantity sell give good enough margin and only way to make money in this. Supply chain is underrated and everything else is overrated in businesses.
