A novel reader told me that apparently this specific dialogue was in the novel, but it was cut in the anime. Looks like they put in the chibi short as compensation.

They're meeting again, the hairpin will return, trust🥲 In the school AU, they went to College together, Maomao for pharmacology and Shisui for entomology.

This made seem more depressing than how I read it, despite her passive attitude she really doesn’t want to be there and reminded me in Maomao’s perspective if she is in not ideal situation, Jinshi manages to find her again (whether he tries to or not)

The iconic final line in Shutter Island (2010) was not in the original novel. Screenwriter Laeta Kalogridis added the dialogue about dying as a good man to imply that the character is sane and consciously choosing to be lobotomized.

In The Godfather, Michael’s proposal was meant to be fully in Sicilian like in the novel but Pacino couldn’t learn the entire speech in time, so Coppola rewrote it on the spot. It became also a power play, using the translator to project authority.

Luffy vs. Kizaru was so mid in the manga, but they did it so well in the anime. I love this Vincent sequence. This looks straight out of a movie

Another thing manga changed and maybe anime cut from the novel: How Aisha was raised in that castle? Manga explains that even she was captive, the guards, Ginger and everyone but Pax protected her and made her stay a lot better than the usual for slaves/prisioners. In Anime it SEEMS that she and Lillia just stayed in a dungeon being tortured or sorta lol. Look how crazy and evil Pax is. #無職転生

Germans dancing at a protest waving the regime in Iran's flag as the regime hangs Iranians for doing the same thing is so dystopian that if you read it in a novel, you'd think the author was too on the nose.

Tess (1979) opens with the dedication, "For Sharon." Roman Polanski dedicated the film to his late wife, Sharon Tate, whose life was tragically cut short in 1969 by members of the Manson Family. Before that tragedy, Tate had read Thomas Hardy's novel and believed her husband would one day turn it into a great film, hoping to play the lead role herself. The movie was released in theaters exactly ten years after she was gone. This was the ninth screen adaptation of Thomas Hardy's 1891 novel Tess of the d'Urbervilles and is widely regarded as the best-known version. It won three Oscars from six nominations. It also became the breakthrough role for Nastassja Kinski.

I can understand that some people don't like it, but I think it's so convenient to read a light novel in visual novel mode! Yep it really exists

Bangladeshi artists sing Vande Mataram. The full version, as was written by Rishi Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay. The song was written in Sanskritised Bengali, in around 1875. It was first published in the 1882 Bengali political novel, Anandamath. It was then first publicly sung by Rabindranath Tagore in the 1896 INC session.
