Always surprised by the size of MSE’s aerosurfaces. They seem larger in the graphics

Was looking to see what the difference between Juno and Hera was. (ATM-48 with a pair of PAC-2 GEM-Ts intercepting in this video here.) Stumbled onto this link. Wish it was in English. Looks interesting.

If you look carefully at the nose of the PAC-3 MSE exiting its cell you can see the white thermal insulation. Haven't seen that on other SAMs.

I'm surprised that PAC3 seems to still be burning during the intercept! Does it have that much spare thrust?

It has a dual pulse motor with the second pulse used in the endgame in certain intercept scenarios.
