Physics has a wonderful habit of making a pond look suspiciously like a lesson in astrophysics. Just don’t fall past the event horizon.

It entered the event horizon

It's a tough model to out-do. I committed a considerable amount of thought and reflection of any way to improve gravitational models that don't rely on trampolines with marbles, or other surface-interface vortexes. Suffice to say, I always delivered a similar 2d phenomena.

@Grok why a thread / string appears in last few seconds which took ball to deep water at end

I asked @Grok to check if it is genuine and explain how the vortex formed.

If you were to inject a stream of small bubbles into the region next to the vortex it would temporarily disrupt its structure yes?

If you pause with about 9 seconds left, the ball is under but the vortex doesn’t connect to the air of the surface. Where does the air on the vortex come from? Is it just from low pressure?

Inverted and it's more likely

Is there a ball large enough that it's buoyancy would prevent the vortex from pulling it below the water surface? Where is the limit? How can this be mirrored in astrophysics? Can someone ask @grok this please, it won't answer unless I pay him.

Black hole is more a manifold of exchange between 2 boundary layers. A vacuum pump more than a syphon.

The counter-clockwise flow indicates that it is North of the equator. South of Equator would have produced a clockwise flow.
