You have just trimmed the callous. It won’t help in eliminating the corn. After trimming top surface, if you fiddle in middle portion you will notice bristle like hairy tissues. Those are the roots of the corn. You have to pull them out carefully, one by one. Then corn gets over

I did that on myself in 1990 and the corn didn’t regrow. I was an undergrad Bio student. Used my own dissection kit. The procedure was painful; more so as I did it on myself, but it worked very well. I had used corn-caps and even took professional help but they didn’t resolve it.
