At the risk of appearing as an amateur movie buff, who is this actor, and what film is it?

He's low key my favorite under 40s actor, especially in this role. He portrays genuine struggle really well, which to me is the only thing that's really interesting. I could care less about jedi and superheroes that have no struggle.

Gotta this movie another try didn’t like it on the first watch

The performance was great, but the direction was odd. He wanted & pleaded & got the help he needed then just said, "anyways, I'm done with this now" & dipped. Didn't sit well with me. I'm assuming that was the point, but, imo, I didn't feel like it was done well.

This was such a good movie. I always recommend it
