Multiply that by the number of police departments across the country. Easily hundreds of thousands of police across the country misusing the unconstitutional Flock spy system, every day. Millions of abuses every month, tens of millions every year, and that may be a conservative estimate.

Crowd control policing techniques are very different because of the nature of the engagement. According to the statement, although the officer showed restraint most of the time, he allowed his emotions to cloud his judgment on a couple of occasions. He added that the officer has been taken into custody for appropriate disciplinary actions. According to report the incident involved Aderele Aisha, who drove against traffic and allegedly assaulted the officer, behaving in a disorderly and unruly manner. He wrote, "As much as the police officer exercised restraint, he allowed his emotions get the better part of him once or twice. A police officer is expected to exercise utmost restraint in the face of provocation. This definitely is a teaching moment for officers and men of the Force. The officer has been taken in for appropriate actions. "That being said, Aderele Aisha, who drove against traffic, clearly assaulted the officer and behaved in a disorderly and unruly manner. She has since profusely apologized for her actions and tendered a written apology. Police officer uses Flock system to give an abuser location data on his victim ----- A San Jose Police officer accessed information on Flock and provided it to a suspect (the officer's family member) in a domestic violence situation, enabling the suspect to locate the victim. These are just a few of the illegal uses of Flock cameras that we find out about. How many "successful and undetected" illegal uses of the Flock system have there been? How many have resulted in sexual violence or even death that we simply don't know about? Sooner or later, we are going to see a death directly tied to the misuse of the Flock camera system. It's only a matter of time.

On behalf of the largest police news outlet in the world, we're officially calling for the resignation or termination of this officer IMMEDIATELY. A female Fort Worth police officer was caught on camera threatening to ticket a retired federal law enforcement officer and Christian street preacher for “offensive speech.” The officer told the man that if someone is offended by his preaching, then “we have a problem” and said she would issue him a ticket. When he asked if she was really going to ticket him for offensive speech, she replied, “Yes, I am.” This is a blatant violation of the First Amendment. Police officers do not have the authority to ticket people for speech that offends others. That is the exact opposite of how freedom of speech works in America. The fact that this officer targeted a retired federal law enforcement officer who was simply preaching makes this even more unacceptable. Departments that employ officers who openly disregard the Constitution need to clean house. This kind of behavior erodes public trust and makes every good officer’s job harder.
