And several Muslims in Oyo were being sold into slavery, even when there was an initial standing order about Abaja tribal mark bearers to not be sold. Some have even dispelled the notion of a "Male Rebellion" in its entirety, even when it's a recognised Brazilian event. To these folks, Because Nigeria is accommodating, we must deliberately dispel the fact, that the same country once did "Ghana-Must-Go". There are several families of Oyo descent, now resident in Ilorin, who fled religious persecution, and yet some will seek to argue endlessly. The Male Rebellion was not called "ANAGO" which would have implied every single Yoruba irrespective of religion. They were emphatic it had a religious character, and Brazilian Museums still hold the artifacts of those Muslim slaves.
