@NightShiftMD The medical experts forgot about infection control: negative pressure, although the child is on a circuit, masks. Its also not sure great example of dealing with families that are resistant to medical suggestion/ intervention. It highkights my frustrated internal voices.

@NightShiftMD This was discussed in the episode. The patient was likely a couple of weeks post-infection. Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis usually happens weeks to months after the acute infection. It is unlikely he would be contagious at this point.

@NightShiftMD Texas as of today have 508 Cases, and 57 of those cases have been Hospitalized. That is 1: 8 (for every 8 cases of measles, 1 Child needs hospitalization) Parents playing Russian Roulette😶
