A progress video of the utter chaos that was Ruin Valley's development, accompanied by a delightful musical snippet of La Conga del Unown from Pokérus Project! Some extremely funny scrapped ideas there (hello huge regigigas rock face!).

@PokerusProject Absolutely go check @PokerusProject channels, they will win your internet for MONTHS! I've discovered them on spotify - and the sheer energy they infuse me with is incredible. :'P Conga del Unown has singlehandedly driven me through all the final polish stages of Ruin Valley!

@PokerusProject I thought it was an original piece or region but wow. I honestly didn't believe what I saw during this video. Ran around that ruined valley a lot back in the day. Your piece is such a step above the original that it wasn't even recognizable anymore as that pre-existing route.

@PokerusProject men... you made it unrecognizable :0 But like, in a good way

@PokerusProject Considering I started it two years ago and back then my life was going a completely different way, it's not only the map becoming unrecognizable - memories are too! It's like a "pixel theseus ship" both in regard to the original material and my own process with it! :'P

Ayo...all this time, it was just a remake of one of the Sevii Island locations?!

@RoseSupreme08 Yes indeed! General topography and Dotted Hole placement aside I had lots of blank space to fill! I loved Sevii Island as a kid and always felt like the Ruin Valley was hiding a lot more, so I've had plenty of fun hiding stuff myself :P
