🚨 BREAKING Arabic IDF Lieutenant Colonel Lieutenant Colonel Ella Waweya | إيلا واوية describes the attacks on Hezbollah. Translation: “Within 10 minutes and in several areas simultaneously: The IDF executes a strike targeting approximately 100 headquarters and military infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah The IDF has just carried out a wide-scale strike targeting headquarters and military infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah organization in areas of Beirut, the Bekaa, and southern Lebanon. This strike is the largest to target Hezbollah's infrastructure since the beginning of Operation Roaring Lion. In this strike, the IDF targeted headquarters, command and control centers, and military systems belonging to Hezbollah: Intelligence headquarters and central bodies used by Hezbollah elements to direct and plan terrorist plots against the citizens of the State of Israel Infrastructure for Hezbollah's fire and naval systems responsible for launching rockets toward IDF forces on land and sea and toward the territory of the State of Israel Assets belonging to Hezbollah's Radwan Force and Air Unit (127), which are among its elite units This strike was based on precise intelligence information and was carefully planned over long weeks by the Operations Directorate, the Intelligence Directorate, the Air Force, and the Northern Command, with the aim of intensifying the strike being directed at Hezbollah. Most of the infrastructure targeted was embedded in the heart of civilian areas, as part of the exploitation practiced by Hezbollah of civilians in Lebanon as human shields to protect its activities. And before executing the strikes, measures were taken to minimize harm to non-involved parties as much as possible. Hezbollah has chosen to join the battle and operate under the auspices of the Iranian regime, which harms the State of Lebanon and its citizens. The State of Lebanon and its citizens must oppose Hezbollah's positioning in civilian areas and its attempts at military armament. The IDF will continue to operate forcefully against Hezbollah and will not allow harm to come to the citizens of the State of Israel.”

The Israeli military has nearly completed capturing the Hezbollah stronghold of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon, killing more than 100 members of the terror group in the area in the process, according to the IDF. The operation in Bint Jbeil is being led by the 98th Division with its Paratroopers and Commando brigades, along with the Givati Infantry Brigade. The IDF says it initially isolated and encircled the town to prevent Hezbollah from bringing in reinforcements or escaping. At least 150 Hezbollah operatives, including members of the terror group's elite Radwan Force, were estimated by the IDF to have been in the Bint Jbeil area ahead of the operation. The 98th Division also carried out several commando operations as it worked to secure the town, a military official says. "Over the past week, the forces completed the encirclement and launched an offensive in the town of Bint Jbeil," the IDF says in a statement. "The troops eliminated more than 100 terrorists from the Hezbollah terror organization in close-quarters combat and from the air, destroyed dozens of terrorist infrastructures, and located hundreds of weapons in the area," the IDF says. Since the IDF began its offensive in Bint Jbeil, the military has not detected any attacks from the town on Israel. IDF troops, however, have come under fire by Hezbollah from Bint Jbeil, though a military official says the rate is slowing. The official says he estimates that it will likely take a few more days to complete the operations in Bint Jbeil, during which the division aims to kill the remaining few dozen operatives there and locate the terror group's infrastructure. Bint Jbeil is considered a Hezbollah symbol. During the Second Lebanon War in 2006, the IDF battled Hezbollah in the town but failed to fully capture it. Earlier, in May 2000, after the IDF withdrew from southern Lebanon following an 18-year occupation, then-Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah delivered a victory speech in Bint Jbeil, where he infamously described Israel as "weaker than a spider web."
