A Proven Trading Strategies With A 91.03% Win Rate

91% win rate isn't feasible long term. Also think win rate is such an overrated metric. One of my most profitable strategies has a 39% win rate.

It depends on the strategy type. This is a mean reversion strategy that trades infrequently. Trend following, for example, has a much lower win rate.

Can you please post chart with RSI?

Hi, we recommend starting backtesting this yourself. It does not work on all markets, though.

Should have explained with charts with given rules. Entry & Exit, the RSI conditions are confusing. sorry for negative remark but this is just simple experience-based opinion.

Thanks for the input.

Low trade count: Only 78 trades over 33 years (~2 trades per year). That’s statistically weak — too few data points to prove robustness. Small average gain: 1.4% per trade is modest. With slippage, commissions, and taxes, net returns could shrink significantly.

You are not trading SPY. Commission is practically zero, and slippage is very low inn such a heavy asset. 1.4% per trade is modest?

The number I'd want next to 91% is average win vs average loss. High win rates on mean reversion usually mean many small wins and occasional large ones against you, which is workable, but the win rate alone doesn't tell you if it is. Also, that curve looks like it spans 30+ years. Was the RSI parameter set chosen before or after seeing the full history?

Any strategy should be post with a benchmark to give context.

Why? The point is to add many strategies, not necessarily having one strategy beating the index. It's like comparing apples to oranges.

Opportunity cost: Being invested only ~6 days per trade means long idle periods. Capital may sit unused for months. Psychological sustainability: A strategy that triggers so rarely can be frustrating — traders may abandon it before the edge plays out.

Of course, that is this can be a strategy of several other, both mean reversion and trend following. Not to mention other assets!

Wtf is this? Paper trading? Test it LIVE and we'll see the results.

Successful institutional traders ignore RSI

Do they?

Most profitable strategies will have a 30% to 40% win rate.
