This is what a public park in Frankfurt, Germany looks like these days. Not a German in sight. ‘Wir schaffen das’ has been a disaster for Germany.

It’s not only the gang shootings or the radical Islamists you have to worry about; the zombies of Toronto also pose a high risk to public safety. But don’t you worry, he’ll still get his fix at the nearest safe consumption site.

"South West Water is due to be sentenced today after admitting supplying water unfit for human consumption" A YouGov poll last month showed that 82% want water in public ownership, but the govt won't do it because they're on the side of the profiteers, not us.

The cheesesteaks in the visitor’s clubhouse at Citizens Bank Park are legendary. Adrian Sanchez has the single day consumption record with 10 and a half cheesesteaks crushed. #STLCards

A Muslim woman at an amusement park in Canada has a complaint that she is having trouble praying in the park because loud sound is playing from all sides. She demands that the park respect her faith and make a secluded place for prayer. This is the problem. Did she come to the amusement park to stroll or to pray? Then what is the mosque for? Why does she have to show her faith only in a public place?

A woman flying a kite in Lahore: confident, visible, unafraid. Women reclaiming public space, culture, and joy. This is women empowerment under a woman Chief Minister. Not slogans, not debates, but lived freedom in public space.

If they really want to understand what a park should be, send them to Chandigarh. They will realise a park is about trees, shade and breathing space, not long barren empty grounds.
