Small update: I beat the game! -theres a hard mode but it doesn't seem to track progress on completing stages on hard -theres no ending screen. Wily begs and that's it -there is no robot master boss rush -arcade mode is just random levels strung together to see how far you can make it on 3 lives. Nothing but your high score seems to be tied to it (like no awards, medals or achievements to earn) -there are some minor unlocks. Defeating a boss lets you use them as the watch face

I can't believe Tiger Wrist Games are back. Someone tell the AVGN!

I got it cuz I wanted a "dumb" watch that could also double as a fitness monitor. I was surprised it came with 3 watch bands! It feels nice on the wrist. My only gripe is it doesn't accurately keep steps when I'm on an elliptical. The Mega Man motif is relevant to my interests.

Yeah I think the watch itself is pretty fun and built nicely for what it is. I'm going to try and wear it for a week and see how the steps / calorie counter works out.

Capcom really likes watch crossovers! First the Street Fighter watches from Seiko then the god tier 1942 watch from Avi-8 and now this. Heres the 1942 one:

This looks so good!!! Personally, I think the adaptation looks like a ton of fun, and I would like to just load up a stage to listen to the music. WANT

It's like the Tiger Electronics version of Mega Man 2. A neat feature for this watch would have been if it had the exact level design layout from the actual game. Counted your steps and it would calculate those steps in progressing the stage you selected. He would stop when the step counter was done for the amount of steps you took during that time. If you want to help Mega Man get through and finish the game, you gotta keep moving. Beating a boss also requires a certain amount of steps to do. Using their weakness would require less steps if you wanna do it that way.

Yeah I do wish it had some more game elements tied to doing physical things. I think what you proposed would be great. Like I already finished the game and that's it. There's an arcade mode to try and best my high score but that's it.

It has potential, and that proposal would be such a huge incentive to get more people to move around and walk more. Surprised Nintendo hasn't done something like this with a Mario watch.

If it’s roughly $30 or less, I’d buy it. Otherwise, pass. I can play it, including many other games, on my handheld.

Heat Man's level does do it. It's not much harder than anything else in the game.
