BRONZE FOR CANADA 🇨🇦 Evan Dunfee wins 10,000m race walking bronze at the Commonwealth Games. And look at him soak up this crowd as he makes his way to the finish line. He loves these moments and he’s basking in it right now.

🇨🇦 Evan Dunfee overwhelmed with emotion after winning gold as he’s greeted by Athletics Canada head coach Glenroy Gilbert. And then he’s greeted by his family who are here in Tokyo and have been there for this long journey. What a special moment for the Dunfee family.

UNOFFICIAL 800M TIME: 2:51 Thanks to coach Evan Dunfee for all the advice. After not training for three years I’ve posted an unofficial 2:51 in the 800m media race. Left it all on the track here in Tokyo. Another great memory at the world championships.

Evan Dunfee broke a 30-year Canadian race walking record today at the national championships. He cares deeply about his sport. And got emotional in our interview just now about the support he’s received — and inspiring the next generation.
