In 2013 Kendrick Lamar came to Nebraska for the Good Kid Maad City Tour. I was plannin on goin as a fan, but out of nowhere they asked me to not only open up, but coheadline the show. I got to have a convo with Dot that night, and it ended with him tellin me “I’ll see you at the top”, I blew up locally after this…fast forward to 2024 & Drake & Kendrick battle blows me up bigger than I ever have been before. My music, reaction etc all go up. Idk how but Dot saw somethin in me that night, but he did. Story tellin is big part in hip hop, so I decided to make my 1st story tellin song about this. I hope this motivates someone like Dot did me.
