A recently opened bridge in China’s mountainous southwest partially collapsed Tuesday. Parts of the 2,487-foot Hongqi Bridge crumbled within seconds around 4 p.m. local time. There were no reports of casualties.

The bridge was just completed earlier this year. No casualties were reported as the bridge had been closed since yesterday (Nov 10) after fractures were discovered.
