At Lahore Safari, giraffes are being treated with cooling fruit pops, while ice cubes and other cooling measures are being provided for all animals across Punjab’s zoos, safaris, rescue centres, and wildlife facilities to help them cope with the extreme temperatures. I have directed a province wide wildlife and animal care alert. Newly established wildlife teams are visiting all wildlife holding places, and the Mobile Wildlife Hospital, along with Lahore Safari, remains on high alert to ensure the health and well being of every animal in our care. 🔵 30,000 live animals seized in global operation against wildlife and forestry crime A global operation against the illegal trafficking of wild fauna and flora has led to the seizure of nearly 30,000 live animals and the identification of 1,100 suspects. From 15 September – 15 October, law enforcement agencies comprising police, customs, border security and forestry and wildlife authorities from 134 countries made a total of 4,640 seizures during Operation Thunder 2025. An impala is attacked at a water hole by a crocodile, and after a long struggle, it somehow miraculously manages to break free and escape. But… just as it steps out of the water and starts to run off, a leopard leaps out at it from behind a tree and takes it down, drags it up a tree, and game over. It’s the craziest thing. After surviving impossible odds against the croc, death just wouldn’t give up and came knocking instantly. I’ve put the full video for all those interested in incredible wildlife.
