I remember meeting your dad @markmartin at the first Brickyard practice/test session. He was staying a few doors down from our group at the Speedway Motel. He had just won Michigan and rolled in there (at noticeable speed) with a rental car. He was very nice to hang out with us while waiting for a pizza delivery. Even though I was an Earnhardt / Schrader fan, I always thought and still do think the best of your dad. Much respect to him for being an outstanding ambassador for the racing sport. Glad to see him still going strong!
