This is exactly how it was for US manufacturers when imported garbage from Chy-na flooded the US retailers 20 years ago. An overwhelming desperation. Chy-na is getting some of its own medicine.

Here’s what could get more expensive with Trump’s new tariffs.

China Observer is a channel managed by an Anti-CCP cult. So it’s always more negative in general. Just some added context.

Ahh. Thank you. I can see the bias. How close do you think this is to what is taking place for regular folks?

This is really bad for China. The honorable Chinese people have been mislead by the gov't for so long they have no idea what's going on. At least here in the states, a lot of people know we are being lied to. Maybe not a majority but a lot. So we have half a chance.

"with this 30% tariff hike the impact is huge" What is now, 105%? It's going to crush Chinese exports. Don't get in a pissing match with Trump.

Thanks for the report, @BrianRoemmele. Tariffs are a double-edged sword—protecting domestic industries but risking trade wars. As of early 2025, U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods have increased by 15%, aiming to bolster American manufacturing.

pretty amazing to see a bunch of chinese here yelling you can’t replace their “goods.” absolutely you can with low or no tariff trade involving japan, korea, vietnam, india, turkey, and germany - just to name a few. with much better quality goods to boot.

"his backup plan is to ship through 3rd party warehouses in other countries" - I thought they closed that loophole
