Officers were called to a residential neighborhood after reports that a daughter, Chloe, was throwing a massive tantrum because her parents wouldn't give her more cash. According to her mother, they had already given her $1,000, but Chloe claimed it wasn't enough. When her parents drew the line, Chloe locked herself inside her black Jeep right in the driveway. ALERT: Officer dragged by a woman suspected of shoplifting from a Walmart. The Covington Police Department in Georgia pulled over Destinee Riggins at a gas station on suspicion of shoplifting from a Walmart. As officers tried to talk to Riggins, she took off, and one officer held on to the window to get her to stop. The officer was flung onto the concrete and taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Officers located Riggins later at an apartment building and arrested her after an extensive search. Riggins faces multiple felony charges, including aggravated assault on a police officer, felony fleeing and eluding, and shoplifting.

Some people come to Walmart to shop, this women came to fight the police. When Greenville Police officers in Darke County, Ohio, responded to a criminal trespass call at a local Walmart, they expected a routine escort. Instead, they walked into a chaotic showdown that quickly turned into a physical chaos. Store employees had already warned Stephanie Aurora multiple times to leave after she was found sleeping in the vestibule. Instead of moving on, she retreated deeper into the store and barricaded herself inside a women's restroom stall. When officers ordered her out, her response set the tone for the entire encounter: “I’m taking a crap!” But what started as a stubborn refusal to cooperate rapidly escalated into a full-blown felony assault once she finally stepped out of the stall. Aurora immediately became combative, shouting at officers to "back off" when questioned about identity and the brand-new clothes she was wearing. When warned about her language, she screamed, "I cuss, get the f** over it."* As officers moved in to place her under cuffs for trespassing, Aurora fought back, pulling away and forcing the encounter to the ground. While resisting on the floor, the situation turned dangerous. Aurora kicked one officer squarely in the face—leaving him with a bloody lip—and bit another officer’s hand. The Intake Chaos: Even after being subdued with the threat of a Taser, the combativeness didn't stop. The facts of what happened in Minneapolis on Jan 7 matter: at 10:25 AM CT the individual in question was using her vehicle to block-in law enforcement officers and obstruct lawful operations—a felony. Throughout the course of the morning, the individual and her partner had been stalking, harassing and impeding law enforcement. ICE law enforcement approached the individual in question and gave repeated lawful commands to stop obstructing operations and then ordered her out of her vehicle for arrest. She refused to comply. She then proceeded to weaponize her vehicle, a deadly weapon, and hit a federal law enforcement officer. The ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement, and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. Peaceful protest is a sacred First Amendment right. This was not that. If you obstruct law enforcement operations, ignore lawful commands, and use a deadly weapon to kill or cause bodily harm to a federal law enforcement office there are dangerous, and in this case deadly, consequences. This was entirely preventable.

The ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement, and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. Peaceful protest is a sacred First Amendment right. This was not that. If you obstruct law enforcement operations, ignore lawful commands, and use a deadly weapon to kill or cause bodily harm to a federal law enforcement office there are dangerous, and in this case deadly, consequences. This was entirely preventable.

An off-duty police officer working security at a department store was alerted to an active shoplifting incident. The officer confronted a female suspect near the exit doors as she attempted to leave with a large bag of unpurchased merchandise. When the officer tried to detain her, a struggle ensued. The suspect broke free, ran through the store aisles, and fled into the parking lot. The officer pursued the suspect to a parked white sedan. This rich woman dared the police to arrest her and they accomidated that request. Most DUI stops involve a series of roadside tests and a breathalyzer. But Linda J. Seltzer took a different, much faster route to the back of a patrol car. Seltzer pulled her Porsche Panamera into a fire station in Palm Beach Gardens, claiming she was lost. When officers arrived to investigate a potential DUI, Seltzer didn't wait for a sobriety test. Instead, she decided to lean into her "status," repeatedly reminding officers of her wealth, her expensive beach condo, and her "many lawyers." Tired of the questioning, Seltzer famously held out her wrists and dared the officers to arrest her. But she didn't just ask for it—she forced it. As she slammed her car door directly into an officer, resulting in an immediate "accommodation" of her request to go to jail. Because of that physical escalation, the standard field sobriety tests never actually happened. She was taken into custody right then and there for Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and DUI. Despite the dramatic footage and the physical contact with the officer, Seltzer maintained her NOT GUILTY plea. In a move that shocked many who watched the bodycam, the State Attorney eventually DROPPED the charges. Her legal team successfully argued that the bodycam footage didn't support the officer's written narrative of the event. It’s a textbook example of how a high-profile "entitlement" video can look one way to the public, but play out entirely differently in a court of law when the paperwork and the video don't align perfectly.
