It was crazy how this was the moment that changed it all. I remember when the first plane hit, and it was mostly confusion and speculation, but the moment the second plane hit, it was absolutely clear and the post-9/11 mindset kicked in for every American across the nation.
I'll never forget this moment. It's when we knew. It was so terrible.
