A section of wheel ruts cut into the limestone which Malta has many examples, dating is difficult but many seem to date from the late Bronze Age onwards but there are more questions than answers about these tracks #Malta

Questions upon questions...sometimes a short journey through time would be quite helpful.

For me looking at this I have a hard time not thinking only one thing. These were formed with a cart or wagon with 2 or four wheels in soft mud. It was quickly covered up in a cataclysmic disaster & preserved. It stayed there buried for millions of years until the mud petrified.
