The NDAA we voted on today is a good bill. It removes funding for transgender surgeries, provides pay increases and greater healthcare benefits to our service members, and defunds all Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs. Unfortunately, it still includes funding for Ukraine. Kevin McCarthy asked that I sit on the Conference Committee to negotiate final bill text with the Senate. I will work to make sure every single penny for Ukraine is removed, or I’ll be a no vote when it comes back to the House.

Two wrongs don't make a right. The Senate snuck a poison pill into the government funding bill allowing them to sue taxpayers for $500,000+ each. This is exactly why Americans despise Washington. Yes, Biden’s DOJ targeting Republicans over January 6 was wrong. But that doesn’t make it right for any Senator to cash in retroactively at taxpayers’ expense.

Just curious if you're going to stand by your word. Secondly, personally, I'd like you to veto the Ukraine funding. No more funding to Ukraine. The Senate wants to play ball, why not play ball.
