Well, darn.

It's 2024, just get new socks.

Darn, that's useful.

This is oddly satisfying

A useful sewing best practice is to always pre-wash your fabric before starting a project. This helps to: 1. Remove any chemicals or finishes: Fabrics can have sizing, dyes, or finishes that may affect the final outcome of your sewing project. 2. Prevent shrinking: Washing the fabric first ensures that any shrinkage occurs before you cut and sew, so your finished garment will fit as intended. 3. Check for color bleeding: Pre-washing helps you see if the fabric will bleed color, allowing you to take precautions before sewing. This simple step can save time and frustration later in the sewing process!

🤣 I wouldn’t dare do this while wearing the sock

Excellent 👍

Never expected the end to be like this, I just thought that it'll cover it.

I don't think this is the best practice for the foot

I refuse to think it's "best practice" to sew up a sock while someone is wearing it. I guarantee the recipient of my sock sewing will soon realize exactly why it's not "best practice" and the purple sock will shortly be purple with red spots.
